This Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains the circumstances under which Metrix Magazine (“Metrix Magazine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may issue refunds for Yearly Subscriptions, Single-Issue Purchases, or other digital products offered through metrixmagazine.com (the “Services”).
By purchasing or accessing any digital content, subscription, or issue from Metrix Magazine, you agree to this Refund Policy, the Membership & Subscription Terms, and the Terms & Conditions.
Note: Digital products cannot be physically returned. Therefore, all refunds are governed strictly by the terms below.
1. Applicability of This Policy
This Policy applies to:
- Yearly Subscriptions
- Single-Issue Purchases
- Other digital products or downloadable content offered by Metrix Magazine
This Policy does not apply to promotional bonuses, free content, contributor-access materials, or any product offered under a separate or superseding agreement.
2. Yearly Subscription Refunds
2.1 7-Day Fair Refund Guarantee
Metrix Magazine offers a seven (7) day refund window for Yearly Subscriptions, provided that no premium content has been accessed, downloaded, or used.
To qualify for a refund:
- The refund request must be received within seven (7) days of the subscription purchase date; and
- The subscriber must not have accessed, downloaded, or saved any premium materials, including but not limited to:
- Magazine issues (downloaded or viewed via flipbook)
- Toolkits, templates, guides, applications, PDFs, reports
- Members Vault content or any other subscriber-only resources
If any premium material has been accessed or downloaded, a refund cannot be issued.
2.2 Determination of Access
We may rely on system logs, access records, download history, and internal analytics to determine whether premium content has been accessed or used.
2.3 Effect of an Approved Refund
If a refund is approved:
- Access to the Members Vault and subscription-only features will be revoked;
- The subscription will be terminated immediately; and
- The User must delete any downloaded materials obtained during any accidental or partial access prior to the refund being processed.
2.4 Refund Requests After the 7-Day Window
Refunds cannot be issued after the seven (7) day period has passed, except in the limited circumstances described in Section 4 below.
3. Single-Issue Purchases
3.1 Single-Issue Purchases provide digital flipbook-only access and are non-refundable, except in cases of duplicate purchases or verified technical failures as described in Section 4.
3.2 Viewing, loading, or accessing any portion of the purchased flipbook constitutes use of the product, and no refund will be granted once access has occurred.
4. Refunds for Duplicate Purchases and Technical Errors
4.1 Duplicate Purchases
If a User accidentally purchases the same Yearly Subscription more than once under the same account using the same payment method, Metrix Magazine may issue a refund for the duplicate charge. Refunds will not be granted for intentional multiple accounts and purchases.
4.2 Technical Failures
Refunds may be granted for verified technical issues that prevent a user from accessing purchased content, provided that:
- The issue is caused by a platform-related error on Metrix Magazine’s side; and
- The issue is not the result of the User’s device, browser, connectivity, or personal environment.
Technical problems that occur after the User has successfully accessed premium content do not qualify for a refund.
4.3 Website Downtime
Temporary downtime or maintenance within a reasonable timeframe does not qualify for refunds. Yearly Subscriptions cover an entire year of access, and short-term outages do not materially affect the value of the service. Metrix Magazine may, at its discretion, issue partial credits or courtesy extensions in rare circumstances but is not obligated to do so.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- The User has accessed or downloaded premium subscriber content
- The refund request is submitted after the seven (7) day window
- The subscription term has expired
- The User’s access was revoked due to violation of the Terms & Conditions or Membership & Subscription Terms
- The User encountered temporary or local technical issues
- The User changed their mind after accessing paid content
- Inability to use content due to incompatible software, devices, or personal preferences
6. Refund Method and Processing Time
6.1 Refund Method
All approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds cannot be issued to alternate cards, accounts, or payment methods.
6.2 Processing Time
Refunds will typically be processed within three (3) to five (5) business days. Bank processing times may vary.
